Rain Gardens (Bioswales)
Rain gardens (aka bioswales) are landscaped areas that are designed to hold and soak-in (infiltrate) stormwater runoff. Rain gardens aid in reducing the volume of stormwater runoff, recharging underground groundwater aquifers and removing pollutants from surface waters.
